The international jury of Art Expo Trieste presented Dr. Michaela Richardson with the “Sustainability Award” for the best sustainable artwork of the exhibition and for her ability to merge artistic excellence with environmentally conscious practices.​

The March edition of 2024 features a report on Michaela's work, in which she combines modern digital photography with encaustic and antique wax painting. ICM stands for “Intentional Camera Movement” and is a creative photography technique in which the camera is intentionally moved to create blur.
